We are fully aware that we are only 3 months into this exciting year, but we have been given some absolutely amazing songs already, including some that we feel will be about to stand the test of time and will definitely make it into our repertoire some time very soon! If you want to have a little look at our already massive repertoire, click here.

So in this countdown we’ll show you a few of our favourites that have been released this year, there are obviously far too many to mention but here we go!

Maroon 5 – Sugar

A brilliant song, with a video to match! Maroon 5, who have been around for ages and look like they are here to stay, released this song on the 13th January 2015. The video sees them driving across LA and surprising people, playing at their weddings. How appropriate for a band like us to love!

Rhianna, Kanye West & Sir Paul McCartney – FourFiveSeconds

When three musical legends, including a Beatle, create a masterpiece it’s not going to go unnoticed. This song is a stripped down acoustic pop song, with Macca on guitar, accompanied by an organ and a cello, with country music influences. Rihanna received some incredible praise for this song, as it is so different to her club-ready tunes!

Years & Years – King

Years & Years released ‘King’ back in January and it landed itself in at number 1! This danceable track is the fourth track from their debut album, Communion, and is such a feel good song. The album will be released in June of this year, and will be well worth looking out for!

Ellie Goulding – Love Me Like You Do

The release of ‘50 Shades of Grey’ meant the release of a killer soundtrack to match. Back in 2014 the Weeknd released ‘Earned It’ from the film and we also love that track! Amongst the list of artists, the soundtrack included Beyonce’s ‘Crazy in Love’ remix, a remastered ‘Beast of Burden’ from the Rolling Stones, plus many amazing others.

This Ellie Goulding track was released in January and is a sweeping pop ballad that lends itself perfectly to the film. Could also lend itself perfectly to a wedding set, says us...

Ed Sheeran & Rudimental – Bloodstream

The fourth release from Ed’s album ‘X’ would be a remixed version of ‘Bloodstream’, by Rudimental! This rework of Ed’s acoustic track has been done in the amazingly heavy drum and bass stylings of Rudimental. What do you think of it? It’s definitely a tune to make you move.

Also, if you haven’t seen his solo performance of this at the Brits you are really missing out, so here you go, we have added it to this blog post just because of how amazing it is...

So there you have it, our collection of 2015 hits... so far! If the first three months have been so fantastic, we are surely in for a treat for the rest of the year. We are always excited to hear what songs you love and want to be played at upcoming parties, so you must let us know your suggestions.
